The Sales Funnel: Engaging Users with an Interactive Quiz

A standout feature of the Money Skills WA website is the interactive quiz, which is designed to drive user engagement and guide potential customers through the sales funnel.

The quiz begins by segmenting the website visitor. If the visitor indicates that they are under the age of 13, they drop out of the quiz and are asked to engage a parent. Teens aged 13-18 are directed to a quiz aimed directly at them, as the potential student. How much do they know about personal finance? How have they done with money in the past? After each question, an educational explanation It ends with their score and a suggestion that the workshops could be valuable.

The parent quiz asks similar questions about their teen, but from the adult's viewpoint. It also ends by revealing the score and the potential long-term benefits of the workshop.

 

Everyone over age 13 who takes the quiz is required to provide their name and email address. They are automatically placed into a series of autoresponder emails designed to provide knowledge and workshop reservation opportunities.

 

The quiz serves as an entry point, capturing interest and keeping the user engaged. This interactive element not only enhances the user experience but also collects valuable data to tailor marketing efforts and improve conversion rates.

By engaging users from the outset, the quiz effectively nurtures leads and moves them closer to registering for the in-person workshops.

Since the client will teach his own workshops, a Welcome video on the home page seemed essential. The client is really selling himself. Web Marketing Star edited a script and implored the client to shoot a talking head against a greenscreen. This took several tries. When we received usable footage, our team seamlessly integrated it against a custom-branded background. We edited the footage, ensuring a polished and professional presentation. To further captivate the audience, we added an inspiring outro accompanied by motivating music.
